Each month Beach Beacon features a ministry need from our community, our state or from around the world.  We collect items that fulfil their needs, send volunteers to help minister to our community and raise funds to allow these missions to provide for their needs and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Acts 1:8 Mission for January

The Union Mission is our Acts 1:8 Mission for January.  Dedicated to serving homeless people in the Hampton Roads community, The Union Mission's emergency shelters and life-saving programs provide a safe haven, hot meals, clean clothing, and job- and life-skills training to hundreds of men, women, and children every day.  The Union Mission Ministries is committed to caring for our homeless guests’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, helping them overcome poverty and build a better future. Most important, we are committed to changing lives forever by sharing the redemptive love of our Savior through the Gospel of Christ.
